This paper tube is a all-cardboard packaging,each tube has a fitted free moving cardboard disc at the bottom which pushes upwards to dispense the product.

Various sizes and formats available from 0.17oz (5g) and 3oz (85g).It is widely used directly in lipstick, body balm and other oil-based solids.

The short cap style is more stronger because the base is taller which makes it long double inner tube,the long cap style you can print more information on inner tube.

The inside liner material performance

After 8 years of testing, we have found that our current grease-proof paper liner is the best material for our products. It does not contain any plastic and has proven to be effective in providing oil resistance. We have previously used aluminum liners, wax paper, PE liners, and now the grease-proof liner for the past 6 years. This liner has been successful in products such as sun protect product, deodorants, moisture balms, foot balms, and pet skin care products.

In some cases, products with minimal oily substances may initially be difficult to push up. However, there are solutions to address this issue, and we would be happy to provide further details if you are interested. Additionally, we recommend testing different filling temperatures to find the optimal temperature that prevents the formula from sticking to the paper.

The outer surface

Regarding the outer surface, if a BOPP film (plastic) is applied, it provides water resistance and allows for easy cleaning with a wet paper. Alternatively, if you prefer to avoid using any plastic film, we can apply a watery varnish on the surface. This varnish protects the printing and makes the surface water and oil repellent. However, as it is paper without a plastic film on the surface, it may be susceptible to staining if exposed to excessive oil. This approach has been widely adopted globally, and we encourage you to test our samples to determine if this solution aligns with your and your clients’ acceptance criteria.

● Glues and adhesives comply with FDA requirements and are all water-based glues, not hot melt glues.
● The inner lining is special grease-proof paper, which can effectively block the transfer of oily components in the paste.

Application:

To dispense the product, simply remove the cap and push up the bottom disc. To return the product for storage, gently press it back down with your finger. We've designed the cap to be taller, allowing you to close it directly and store the product effortlessly. The recommended filling temperature falls within the range of 40° C to 60° C. It's crucial that the product solidifies either before or after filling. Please note that these tubes are not suitable for liquids or creams. We advise you to test a few samples of your product before placing a larger order. Although the grease-proof lining might not work with all product formulations or filling temperatures, it typically works well with most oil-based products.
